Our Minecraft server runs the All The Mods 10 modpack — quality-of-life plus progression without the grind-fest. Whitelist is required to keep the experience good for everyone.

Getting whitelisted

Read the rules below, then open a ticket in #make-a-ticket. Once you’re whitelisted you can connect using the server address at the top of this page.

Creating a ticket is how we keep track of who’s playing and act on rule-breakers if we have to.

Rules

  1. This isn’t a single-player world — be mindful of the resources the server is using. Don’t build monstrosities that melt our CPU. Don’t become the reason for a new rule or config change.
  2. Cheating — including X-ray — is an instant ban.
  3. Community server, not toxicity server. Slurs and hate speech are not tolerated.
  4. No griefing, ever. We monitor player actions and movement history.

Installing CurseForge & ATM10

CurseForge is a launcher/client for downloading Minecraft mods and modpacks. Grab it from curseforge.com — either the standalone version or the Overwolf variant works. Run the express setup and log in with a CurseForge account when prompted.

Once installed, open CurseForge, pick Minecraft from the left sidebar, and you’ll land on four tabs:

  • My Modpacks
  • Discover
  • Browse — this is where you go
  • Servers

In Browse, search for ATM10. The top result is the modpack we’re using — click Install. It’ll take a while.

When it finishes, open My Modpacks. You’ll see a tile with a 3-dots icon and another with “two tiny servers”. Click the three dots, pick the second option, and make sure you’re on the latest ATM10 version. Hit Play — the Minecraft launcher will open and you may be asked to sign in to your Mojang / Microsoft account. Double-check the version shows ATM 10 before launching.

Allocating RAM

RAM matters for both the client and the server. Not enough allocated, and your client will crash. In CurseForge, the gear icon at the bottom of the left sidebar opens General Settings — scroll past those to Minecraft In-game Specifics, then to Java Settings.

The default is 4,096 MB. We recommend bumping it to 12 GB. The cap is 159 GB but there’s no need to go near that.

Joining the server

Once you’re whitelisted, load the game, hit Multiplayer, and add a new server using the address minecraft.maturegaming.co.uk. Give it a moment — the server should appear in your list.

If the server doesn’t show, you might be on an outdated modpack version or we might be briefly down. Make sure ATM10 is fully up to date; if you still can’t connect, open a ticket and a game admin will help.
