Custom decay timers
Tags are updated automatically as you rack up hours on the cluster. Type /groups in-game to check yours.
- Beach Bob — default, given when you join and spend under 5 hours — 7 days.
- Tourist — 5–23 hours played — 14 days.
- Resident — 24+ hours played — 28 days.
Restart schedule
Servers restart daily at 11:00 GMT (03:00 PST / 06:00 EST). Every server stops at the deadline, then they boot up in pairs with a one-minute gap.
Dino wipes
Wild dino wipes run every day starting at 5:00 GMT. Wild egg wipes happen immediately after.

Svartalfheim — a standalone detour
Want a break from progression? Svartalfheim is a small no-flyer map by Nekatus (also behind Fjordur, Valguero and Astraeos). It’s a survivor-only transfer map, so progression players can pop in without ending their run.

- Secondary base — max 10×10

- Mating Interval — 0.05 (vs 0.1 on the rest of the cluster)
- Baby Mature Speed — 60 (vs 40)
Some engrams are disabled to preserve the map’s intended feel — including teleporters (Community Building only), mek, and tek skiff.
Mods unique to Svartalfheim: S-Dino Variants, Dwarven Builders Mod, Viking Wardrobe.
Mods removed on Svartalfheim: CKF: Sci-Fi, eco’s Tek Decor, eco’s Chibi Displays, Element Transfer.
Cluster rules
Base size
- Max one main base per map per tribe — 50×50 foundations.
- Max one water base per map per tribe — 25×25 foundations.
- Max two outposts per map, 3×3 foundations each.
Each tribe is responsible for their build. Admins can and will ask you to reduce oversized builds — if a warning is given and not actioned, an admin can pick the base up and put it in storage for you to rebuild within the rules.
Behaviour
- No harassment. Keep chat to appropriate channels — don’t spam global.
- No glitching, hacking or boundary-breaking. Accidents happen — contact an admin.
- No foundation spam to block others from building.
- Don’t block caves or parts of the map that need to be accessible.
- Don’t lure dinos to other bases, tames or players.
- Trading and buying is at your own risk.
- Don’t steal or use items/tames without permission — including in-progress tames.
- Demolish your wild traps when you’re done. Locked or abandoned traps may be demoed by admins.
- Keep Stryders soulballed when not in use.
- No drowning or dragging other players to death.
- Don’t leave tames out in the wild. Use a leash or they get removed.
- Don’t block major resources, artifacts, loot crates/drops or explorer notes. Rough gauge: 2+ rich nodes, 5+ normal metal, 6+ obsidian/crystal, or beaver spawns — don’t build there. Open a ticket if you’re unsure.
- All limited resource structures (oil pumps, tek pumps, sap taps, gas pumps) stay unlocked.
- Outside caves and points of interest, use bedrolls for bedspawns — foundation-and-bed setups block other players.
Community buildings. Don’t build around community structures — for example, building is prohibited across the entirety of Herbivore Island so everyone can place sleeping bags during events.
Fair gifting. Don’t gift items / dinos that are well above the recipient’s level — it can ruin the new-player experience. Instead, help them get there — turn it into a PvE adventure.
Don’t become the reason for new rules.
Logging out
Log out on a bed (empty inventory is better) to avoid mesh deaths when you log back in. We can’t recover items lost to careless log-outs.
Server transfers
If you’d rather not risk the transfer dice, type /upload in chat to upload your whole inventory, transfer to your target map, then /download once you’re loaded in. Not everything transfers — element and tributes/trophies are the usual culprits. Items lost during a raw transfer without upload won’t be replaced.
